LEWIS CAMPBELL is Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Stage Designer of Multi Ethnic Theater. Over the past twenty years he directed and designed twenty MET productions. This entire web site (browse the buttons above) serves as a detailed resume of those twenty years. Before that he directed and designed over one hundred productions as a high school theater teacher. His formal education, his work as a teacher, and his work with MET and other theater companies in various capacities including acting is detailed in the supplementary resume below.

San Francisco Unified School District
Since retirement in 1993: Day-to-Day Substitute as “Cowboy Luigi”, K-12 throughout the city. At Mission High School established Multi Ethnic Theater. Later, with a California Arts Council grant, developed The Center for Theater Training (CTT), a city-wide program for students from various high schools. The Center became the Actor Training Program at School of the Arts (SOTA) when that alternative high school was formed. Taught full time in the Unified School District until retirement in 1993 to form and become Artistic Director of Multi Ethnic Theater.
